Why waste time (and money) trying to achieve your usual sound in an expensive and unfamiliar
studio environment when we can come to you and record you at your best?
Equipment
We can multitrack/overdub up to 8 tracks live onto a Yamaha AW1600 Digital Audio Workstation
at either 16 or 24 bit (44.1Khz) and we also use this machine for mastering short sessions to audio CD (.cda) format.
There are 128 virtual tracks available on the AW1600.
Playback, bounce and mastering are restricted to 16 tracks-at-once (16 bit) or 8 tracks-at-once (24 bit) on the AW1600.
For customers requiring more flexibility, we have the option to export the session to Cubase SX
(not advised for restricted budgets!)
Fancy mixing it yourself? A small charge (£5) is made for monaural WAV file archiving to a DVD or USB storage drive.
Please tell us in advance if you require this service as we have to export files via a computer (USB 2.0).
We have a wide range of industry standard microphones including the outstanding AudioTechnica AT4040 and AT3035 capacitors, Nady CM-88 condensers, AudioTechnica AE5100 cardioid condensers and the classic Shure SM57, SM58 and SM58 Beta dynamics.
Our audio engineer has over 20 years' experience in both live and studio situations.

Recording a live performance: £12.50 per hour
Please allow an extra hour to incorporate equipment setup and packdown
time.
For best results it is advisable to set the recording levels at your soundcheck.
Please budget for mixing / mastering time - this may vary considerably due to customer requirements (charged at £10 per hour).

Guide price for a 2-hour live recording with track editing / mixing / mastering = £40 to £60
Recording at a rehearsal studio: £10 per hour

Guide price for a 4-hour session multitrack live recording = £40
The prices quoted are our fees only, which are payable to us and not to the rehearsal studio.
Rehearsal room fees are not included in this price - these are in addition to the fee shown.
Payment for your rehearsal session should be made directly to the studio and not to us.
Home recording/mixing/mastering: £10 per hour
Mix in the comfort of your own home! Please budget for extra time to accomodate equipment setup and

CD-R stereo session master: Gratis / 50p each
First one free, additional CD-R's charged at 50p per unit (or we can use your own!)
